Cool remix, professional

the pads in this sounded very slick and professional as well as the lead lines that went with them (even though it's from braveheart). Good driving audio clipping as well. too bad the loop wasn't very tight...

ZeRo-BaSs responds:

awesome thanks!

nice beats here

not bad dnb here! a little simple but you used the cheesy fruity loops guitar well and the drums are quite slick.

Dj-Wraith responds:

thx for the review, glad you enjoyed the track, as for the guitar, that will most likely be changed in a later version of the song, possibly to a completely different sample.

thx again for the review, I really appreciate them,

Keep on listenin

cool for a collection of loops

so, i'm going to review this thinking that you made this from loops you found. It is a very juicy and smooth mix that combines the hardcore dnb basses with the smoothe sounds in a relatively short time. good intro to program music? anyway, very slick and produced.

project-ctrl responds:

Why thank you fine sir :D.

stuffed turkey

it's funny how much people like to critique that a song doesn't fit into a genre and then proceed to fail it. that shows a complete lack of open-mindedness or just listening skills.
ok i'm done now. congrats on 1st place, cool and moody song with some thick ol kicks. i think the tempo is is just right for a stroll down the street while feeling like a badass. cheers!

HouseMasta responds:

thanks for the 7, yea sorry i submitted it to DnB i wasnt sure what the hell DnB was, so i just submitted here...

agghhhh my spleen!!!

well considering it's supposed to be horribly unlistenable...10 points! this fucking rocked my sonic world on a monday night. amazing selection of sound effects. freak as shit....that's really freaky.

Nostrap responds:

Hell yes.

nice, room for improvement if you like...

nice and slow. not too crazy, no dissonance and plenty of delay. a very ambient, simple, plucked out little jam you have here sir. not too complex on the melodies though. What you could possibly do is make this into the chorus and then drop the main pattern and make a verse that has similar elements but isn't the same loop over and over. it would create a change and when the familar chorus comes back, you've got your self a catchy little song! kick it!

hmmm, not as good

hmmm, this one needs some work. It sounds like you made a funky dissonant clashing jam and just added it up with other instruments without considering the actual movement of the song. It doesn't really seem to move. the heavy beat will change a little, but stays clunky and random. With this, i'd put some more backround help. strings and some sort of bassline to keep the notes connected. sorry if this seems harsh, it's really just constructive, i know you've got the goods in yah, just spend a few more hours next time. peace.

yeah, moody

hey, very nice stuff here. i like the overall feeling it gives. to me it seems like a theme to a reluctant traveler walking the streets alone and gazing off into the sunset. The music was simplistic but really i wouldn't think of anything i could add except some transistion FX or a change in patterns (despite how well they work) very cool. abrupt ending though. just export it it and change it to "leave remainder" and it will smooth out the end. good luck

oh diggity,

so i just submitted my first industrial track and thought i'd see what i'm up against. I must say, this is pretty fuckin awesome. what is needed now is some heavy reverb screams and some trent reznor. seriously, this so dirty and delicious. it even has a groove to it, so some sick industrial lover can dance to it. good god man. heavy and slick. the drum and bass work is done by a skilled master. no wonder it's a gold track.

Helix6 responds:

Thanks. Don't know what else to say, except nice analysis.

all tens dammit

man, i almost want to say that this has TOO many effects! you must have had fun adding in all those blending and slashing effects. it adds lots of variation, it never once felt like a loop, always introducing new effects, filters, thick beat rolls and even some fight club soundtrack style bass and flanger sounds. Hmmm, i dont think it matters if that makes sense. awesome song, experimentation is like a fine wine, if you drinking it enough.....you'll get drunk in love with it.

Rucklo responds:

Oh yeah, it sure id fun, but it takes a loooong time making it too...
Well, just go ahead and get drunk man!!!
Thanx for the review!!!
