Microkorg rules!

i also have one and haven't figured out how to incorporate it in my stuff yet except as a remote controller.
This song was pretty cool, you nailed the trance sound, the backround pads, catchy lead line. but it was missing the upbeat bassline!!! oh well, still cool. maybe some faster drums next time. the beat seemed more like a break beat or dance song. nothing wrong with mingling though, good song for a backround repeating thing in a flash, to get the mood. keep it up

Shadow143 responds:

Yeah! Korg has some nice stuff but now alls I need to get is a set of Gemini turntables :)

Thanks for the reviw! Everybodys responces to my tracks, Good or bad help me figure out my mistakes to fix and what not to change!

hahaha

i never knew what clarity meant till i heard this song, the sound quality was so good it was like it was being shouted right off the mountains of Norway. as for the song, quite a hilarious remix....i dont know what else to say but you deserve that nine in originality (the 1 point not given goes to who ever originally wrote the song)

Rucklo responds:

wow, man! I´m not sure i can agree that the clarity is that good, but it could be because of my half-crappy speakers :D...
However, this is a thing I made whilst a little drunk, with a li´l help from my roommates for the backg. vocals. I actually never finnished it, cause I grew tired of it.

The original:

Thanks alot for the review, Crud! :D

yup

it was definitely fast, but i just wanted a little something more than than synth thing just doing da DA da DA da DA da DAHHHH.

i liked the zaps with the blast hit though, that was neat

Oro responds:

it sucks :/

oooh, moody much?

this is totally like something i'd expect to hear from some ridiculous rpg game backround music. very gooey and sappy melodies used. i loved em all. the midi was amazingly crystal clear, very good quality. i really can tell you know music, intelligent riffs and all the instruments had their moment. sadly i dont think they ever connected into a single solid, catchy chorus that was memorable. but that really isn't necessary to have a good song, which is exactly what this is...great work

Rucklo responds:

Thanks alot for the review man!
The "good" quality is thanx to Reason, I just tweak a little. Reason does have good outgoing sound, u know...
I agree with u that there probably should have been a noticable chorus, but it´s alot easier gettin a good catchy chorus if u have vocals... It aint impossible, though. I´ll work on it :D
Thanx again for the review, I value all comments I get! (especially if they´re creative, like yours :)

cool

nice loop, sounds a bit like fatboy slim. not much else to say. good for a movie probably

Old-Style-Clock responds:

thanks man check out the others please..

definitely misc.

first off, let me just say that your profile quoute is like my whole life in a sentence, people really love to let me know when i screw up.

but as to this song,i think this was perfect for the miscellaneous genre, it was like a classical peice, but also could be from a video game, and then the bass sounded like it was going to techno. but no, it stuck with the very melodic and gloomy yet inspiring music. very awesome and you might look into doing old rpg soundtracks..;)

Bad-Atom responds:

Thanks for the review!

I often find it very hard to classify a lot of my music. It doesn't always fit into a single genre. (Thank goodness for Miscellaneous!)

Damn,

that heavy filtered synth was badass with the funky beat. the middle was a little odd, but i see what you were trying to do, and i know how hard it is do filter solos and shit so props to you for giving it your all. as i said before, before, explosions of badassness. keep on loopin!

apimusic responds:

Thanks.

oh damn!

the beat in the beginning! fucking brilliant (as is cremaster) but that's entirely different. this beat was amazing, it was more like a tribal drum and bass than ambient. but very well made and definteöy stands out from the average slop here on Newgrounds. keep it up, this rocks!

Apoplexia responds:

thank you so much for this support! :) i really appreciate it! thi song actually never developed beyond what is on NG, but i might look into it and develop it further...too bad my tabla skins are scrapped (and the student life-style is not overflowing with money)...the final version will be much better:)

whoa!

okay if you made this from just listening, HOLY SHIT!! either make a career out of it or stop playing so much mega man.

if you did not as you said, write this completely from ear, which is much more plausible, then, whatever. it still sounds cool.
I love those arpeggios!!

Bezo responds:

Make no mistake, I didn't do it by memory, but I did do it by listening. ;) As for making a career out of it, that is my plan. :D

beautiful

oooh, lovely soft beginning, left me begging for more beauty in the world. the dragging jangly beat afterwords was sublimely perfect. oh god, the synth filtering around came in at just the right time. I like how this song doesn't try to rush at all to get from one place to the next and is just content being itself.definitely sexy voice as the arpeggiator slides it's way in and then the song grows with a soft overly filtered passion, and then BAM! it's a dance track!! oh god this wonderful! so good dude! i wish this had been number one! it deserves all the credit for a well planned well maneuvered sensual soundscape.encore-

Brineshrimp responds:

wow... i mean.. oh .. jeez... WOW :-) thanks man

I make music that pops and clicks in your eardrums and in your synapses. listen to my beats and you'll breathe with me.
