question.

what percent of this is DJ Scott?, i would like to know, the song certainly sounded club-worthy but i am interested in what you actually put into this.

dxstructive responds:

Da bout 10 second part that kept repeating was Dj Scott'z wat I did was add in the extra tunes and includin sum FX to the song plus sound effects..

bored eh?

well i can tell you were bored, you just grabbed the demo pattern and remixed it a bit and added some "rock drums? i dunno man, it sounds alright, just too much ADD going on.

billy-magnum responds:

I don't care about this song.

oddly familiar

this songs has an odd way of reminiscing up memories and yet is still diverse and creative, i certainly felt that oriental feel when the bass and piano came together, overall, very nice to listen to, sometimes it was distracting when the piano would get relly complicated after being relatively simple ( near the end) but you still get the 10

bladen-stryph responds:

Thx man, glad u liked it, it's not done so i didn't add the other piano notes, its just a sound test afterall.

i'm the first to review

I like the beginning, very lovery dovery sort of feel, the drum filter was a little weird but it worked. All the chords were so touching. I like it all....except for that drum fill at the very end...what was that? ;)

Whirlguy responds:

I know what you mean by that. The hihat fills. I think i should have done that a little later i guess. Becouse you don't really hear the strings playing before that. However, i think you'll hear nothing from me for a while. Becouse I'm gettin Reason and I guess it will take a while before i get the hang of it. I heared that paragonx9 is using that too! I try to come back with beter music. And thanx for the review

i know what you did.

six words.
DJ BOX MADE THIS SONG

however i have to give you credit for adding your own skills of pushing buttons

yet i gave you a 10 because i think i'm going to do the same thing and i don't want you to think i'm a hypocrit. ;)

artificial responds:

dj box? Not sure what you mean, i use a yahmaha dude

oh ...ohhh yes.

Oh man! i really really like this. It makes me feel all gooey inside like that synth near the middle. The beat stepped out of the usual four on the four kick that i usually use(sometimes just out of habit)very very good. I loved the sweepy yet driving force behind it. i didn't want it to end. i think the last reveiwer was trying to say that all music is now using techno it it..and with music like yours..that's a good thing indeed.

Carcase responds:

thanks for the good review! Well to be honest, the dream i had was me playing ratchet and clank. so its possible i may have taken a tidbit from that game. but past the part where the strings come in is all mine for sure.

the audio-bot is fucked

First off, that drone note was just annoying, your beat made sense...to some extent, to the point whenn all the drums were doing there own little solo. the song is missing any sort of tension are climax or any sort of musical theory. But i ahev to say, it is good to the extent that i can hear some of the work you put into it. for about maybe an hour, then you just repeated patterns and threw them together in a shuffle. CONGRATS ON THE SECOND PLACE THOUGH!!!!

BaronVonBadGuy responds:

Hey thanks for the review, harsh as it may be O_o
When I saw the score I thought is was going to be a really mean review.
It actually took me about 5 hours to make, you see I am real picky, I put things in, and then don't like it and switch and keep changing shit untill it's what I wanted it to sound like.
I do need to learn more about how put notes into what ever place, but as you noticed I do put time into it, as I am sure you know, when you have been working with the song for a while it get's hard to tell what you should do with the song as it all seems the same.
Any how, thank you for your review!

Mike

gotta love the power beats

this peice seemed really unecesarily loud.
That's why it rocks! the choir made my smile and the bass held it all together, the hits seemed to be the the main part, i only wish there had been some higher pitched instruments...but that's just my opinion. keep on rockin the beats

ZeRo-BaSs responds:

Thanks for your review!
I've just checked out your song "Crud's Adventure" and i left a lil review!

zowie!

i liked the dark sinister feel: yet it seemed that the bass overpowered everything else that was so well planned, maybe it's just my headphones, overall good track, just work a little with the equalizer to get the sounds to level out. keep it up!

Cypher responds:

Yes, Dreamscaper and Evil-Dog were telling me to sort out the EQ and the different volumes, I have slightly better version now, but I don't want to upload another, because it'd be too samey. But thanks for the review, now I can start looking at harder elements of song production, before it was just getting melodies sounding right...heh.

Thanks again.

loopin' eh?

What loop program did you use to make this, they're pretty cool loops, but they're just that. Pre-made loops. Whatever, it's still interesting to listen to.

BLACKleaf responds:

I know, I know. The last couple of songs were just experiments with a program I got called garageband. I'm starting to get serious and making everything from scratch. I also want to tell you that not everything I make are from loops.
BLACKleaf thanking you for reviewing!

I make music that pops and clicks in your eardrums and in your synapses. listen to my beats and you'll breathe with me.
