Zounds!

yeah sorry about the seven on the full song. i guess i was being stingy. But seriously, great work with the mixing of different volumes and sound qualities on this. This loop is the cream of the crop from your song. so badass. that whistle and the light chimes or whatever. just a great MIX!!! i imagine this as the credits to some badass movie...ummm...like The Crow or Blade, something dark and mysterious. sweet!

what an odd mixture

Very interesting peice you've got here. I just took off points on clarity because it wasn't clear to me what your plan was for this song. you blended lot's of varying sounds and scapes but none of them really came together. The only thing that linked them was that FUNKY bassline you had. congrats on the funkiness. but WTF was the augmented building tension thing??? i like the stuff that came after it, but as i said before....they don't really blend. the only thing that would have really worked the whole song was the organ and whatver that other sound was with it. oh! but it looped very nicely!

smoothe, very soulful

This had a great feeling about it. that opening synth with the echo by itself worked great. and i wish that you had made that whistle synth (later in the song) a little louder but it was still mixed very well. As the others said, if this is your first song then i can't wait to see where you go with your music.very nice work with Fruity loops, most first timers will take the easy way, but i can hear some hand crafted sounds and tweaked instruments. you're a champ!

how'd you make this?

Man, the recording quality on this was absolute shit.haha, no worries man. i liked this house beat alot. very fun and funky, with the piano and whistles?? but i have to ask man. the quality on this was very muddled and i want to know what program you used to make this because you can't get sounds like the from Fruity Loops or Reason

hahah, i liked it

Very cool sound overall on this. i think you blew your microphone, hahah. and when you fucked up that was funny. But you totally could have worked it because this riff was full of dark yet uplifting chords. cool

!I'm glad you thought this was amusing!
!Thanks for your review!

ooh! me likes!

First off, let me say i love arpeggios and you my friend certainly had some of those in this song. This had a very nice combination of sounds, with the buzzy panning arpeggiator. then the full whopping bass. But man, this song was all over the place and that's what kept it moving and not boring, transistions between the different elements would be appreciated though. OH! you had a cool beat come in and i was really getting into it and then you dropped it, and then back but no other percussion than the kick (that i could hear) next time work on a more solid beat that will keep this song organized and unified. loved it man. keep on working it

Thanks a ton for the review. Especially hearing reviews from you (You rock the techno section, man) makes me feel happier. The beat is one thing I seem to get messed up on. Next submission I enter (after The Different) I'll try a little harder on the beat and see what I can do. Additionally, transitions, thats interesting, hasn't been said before but I think I can do that.

Thanks for the review again, its good to see that you take the time to check out other people's audio.

Thanks again.

oh man i'm freaked out.

This song is fucking scaring me. seriously, these sounds are so freaky, this should be under industrial dude!!! this is dark and should be the soundtrack for a zombie movie or something really fucked up!

crazy sounds!!!

whoa. what an amazing array of sounds. this song is crazy dude. Did you make all the the sounds or were they pre-made song riffs? because they sound really cool, but their styles aren't really blending. maybe stick with a similar theme with the riffs, like that badass bassline in the begining. that's cool and totally would work with a drum and bass song!

cyrus3335 responds:

yea i know i make some of them, and some are premade, and they arent from other songs. they were meant to to be used as your own personal thingy or w/e, and yea i know they dont blend, actually thats the deal with all of my audios, but once im dont with my second set of stuff im gonna make it all blend and have to same type for each synth

there is good work afoot

This is some crazy cool stuff man. I liked all the choices in sounds you made. but i have to say that for effort i give a lower score because, it's mostly the same riff the whole time. and it was kinda choppy and not very smoothe. But then again it has very good use of drops and startups. anyway, you have a good sense of the sound, so definitely keep working that sound and banging out beats!

this is good stuff!!

This is crazy energy man!!! this could pump up some serious fight scene. this should definitely end up in some video game. it's amazing, the works with strings and chords and harmonies was amazing!!! and the beat kept driving it on for more and more power. High diversity points for combining such an amazing array of sounds. synthy stuff, choirs, dist. guitars, arpeggiating lovey sounds...it was all oh so beautiful. yay.

I make music that pops and clicks in your eardrums and in your synapses. listen to my beats and you'll breathe with me.
