oh my this is a wonderful genre bender! the piano mastery is phenomenal and the the funk bass, ungh! so good! the solos are amazing and so flowy! like a spiraling dust storm of floating cottonwood fuff, light beautiful andincredibly energetic.

The ending was a bit sudden because i was following the solo sound and then is just trails off.

besides that small note, i LOVE this track. so fun and FUNky!

i will def add you on soundcloud :)

johnfn responds:

slow soft and ambient techno

I love the atmosphere you've created, a subtle fairy like techno land of black light willow trees and secretive whispers in the wind. love the pads near the end and the gated stuff. bet you had fun making it.

DjArmedWolf responds:

thank you this means a lot XD i love the description you gave haha AND yes i did have fun making this song haha

lovely jovely

I'm a huge fan "happy" music and this has such a warm and pleasing quality and story-like progression to the tunes without straying to far from the pleasant meadow. good mix of acoustic and synth. the end was great because the bass was busy but not distracting. i think you can loop it a little better though.

DarkWalker2090 responds:

thanks. i always fade it out at the end. every song i have made does that. I guess for me it is a personal thing. i thought it was good. I do like hearing back from people to see what they think needs to be done. i do not know if i can loop it better other then not fading it out at the end XD.

Thanks Again

solid track, weak vocal effects detract.

i dig the huge orchestra hits. the kick is solid like thunder, the vocal track filtering and pitch altering makes me think of teenypop music though. ugh. maybe split it up with an unfiltered "real" vocal cut to give it balance. snaps are classic with that reverb.

ERAmatica responds:

The Vocals in this track are just place holders to help show where verses, choruses and bridges are!

Good mood, missing some intensity.

very moody and dark. i love the chords you used in the middle piano section, a good mix of minor and inquisitive. I personally would have liked some sort of filtering on the slayer to make it sound less like the preset sound. maybe some sort of shred metal to convey that running you were talking about. all in all, i could definitely see this as background music in a rpg .

cjsnow1 responds:

Thanks for the review.

I personally dislike slayer. I should have gone with my Best Guitar Preset. Probably would've made it sound better. I'm going to go back in and see what it sounds like. If it's better I'll re-upload this. If it isn't, then you know the rest.

short and light

sweet reverb, creates BIG atmosphere. I'm not familiar with the song but it has a great lightness with deep impending feeling (maybe deeper bass pads for that effect). the dissonant part at 0:33 and 1:22 was strange. maybe just needs to bass boost with compressors. all in all. sweet.

DJ-Corey-X responds:

Thanks man I'll work on it :D

surprise

heard the song on the collab video and this version is so much cleaner and tighter sounding. I love how it stays simple but keeps my interest with random quippets of snippety ticky tack. that ol' chestnut. The reverb dj scratches were kinda messy but worked with the glitchy feel of the song. the hi hats were lots of fun. the use of the filter cut on the bass in sync with the rythm worked great. very successful lil tune yah got here.

Kingbastard responds:

reverb dj scratches eh! i'm 100% certain i didnt use any scratches in this trk:) Cheers fro the review man, been a long time hearing from you.

nice, more?

the repeating echo patterns can be a bit grating when everything echoes as one...but, it created a really cool change when the varied notes came in and carried a new steady sound with it. i think this would make a great intro, drop the big rave synths at the end, then bringing them back with a pounding beat. (suggestion) cool stuff.

johnfn responds:

I tried to have the echoes sync up I think, so maybe that was a bad idea. The pounding beat is a neat idea, I never was much for bass. I'ma try to work on that and get back to you!

cool song

definitley a sweet track. very cool synths, they sound rave-like while still being connected to the video game sense to it. I really like the energy to. the build was nice and slow and seemed like a movie soundtrack with the voices going. cool song.

Stargame responds:

Dang man, I'm glad you like it! I don't really think the sounds are rave-like... But then again, I haven't even BEEN to a rave, hehe. The whole conversation in the beginning helped to build the song up. It goes all slow, and then..... KAPOW!!!! Hits ya like an oncoming train. Again, I'm glad you liked it, I had a lot of fun making this one :)

sonic chaos

i fucking love the basses on this, the timbre, the lines and oh my the pump up quality. the drums were tight as hell and i must say you've got some cooky ass sounds bouncing around too. the melody was a little convoluted but no worries, it just pumps you up. i definitely heard the two weeks of work put into this. simple and sirect.

cornandbeans responds:

thanks. :D It did take a bit of effort and experimentation.

I make music that pops and clicks in your eardrums and in your synapses. listen to my beats and you'll breathe with me.
