ohhh

yay for ambience that lifts the minds and closes the eyes. i really like this sound. the lo-fi is more like drifting into the ocean than sounding underwater. like a boat drifting out to see with a couple soulful guitarist aboard. well made and well created.

Thank you very much. Although I owe a lot of credit to Evan Hinkle on guitar. He recorded a minute of audio on a crappy 10 dollar k-mart mic, and yet his riffs still shine through. Thanks for the review!

the elf that got away

well when you said it was your best yet, i figured it'd be a LITTLE better. but nope, you prove me wrong again. Some serious work went into this one. the trancy chopped up synths, light droplet bells and thundery little beat. very soft and quick. if it were a mystical creature it would be an elf. an elf that goes to raves...:)=

here it is

yeah dude. more creepy stuff. It seems like i'm going overboard with all these reveiws. but it's awesome to hear you progress so quickly. you improves the depth of the intruments. the beat flows tight and funky. the synths warm up to each other and and hey! it wasn't even THAT repetitive, just felt like it was slowly building. the pitch bend was perfect and calculated. your best and most thought out work yet.

hey heay

if i didn't know any better, i'd say your music is slowly turning into a creepy industrial/dancy/ambient sound. i like. the zombie like sleepy beat worked great with the song. the instruments were just a little too simple though. try and tweak with them. change the filter cut, have some fun with the distortion or just make them clip (shorter decay, less sustain) keep on loopin!

boo!

that beggining sound was totally one of those stupid ghost things that people buy for Halloween. so annoying. but in your case it works with the creepy drum and drill type beat and wavery synths. great drums on this one and the creepy sounds give it a very disctinctive feeling. yes!

yeah DnB!

i think what you've got here is some inklings of drum and bass or trip-hop. seriously! nice! very dark brooding feel with HEAVY beat. i like this, and i could tell you were going for some serious beat because the kick is LAYERED upon more and more kick. drum and bass is basically ambient music with a sick ass beat going crazy....

simple pain

that lead instrument was painful. make the oscillators clash less. unless that was what you were going for...you got much better work this so dont feel too bad.

random happy

very simple instrument. definitely low bit. snes fun. the beat claps reminded of Will Smith's new song (switch). dont be offended, it's catchy. when the NES sounds merged and harmonized, that was my favorite part.

a model song

I have to give you credit for diversity. your songs never sound the same. always experimenting with new intruments and organization: that's very good to do. i liked the sounds, and the bass by itself was pretty tight. the choir synth was a little too fake sounding. but they all came together, haha, until you tossed them into the auditory blender.wahwahwahwah. pretty cool little track right here. keep on experimenting! good stuff will always come out.

good sounds, strange organization

I have to agree with King Bastard, the drums were pretty tight. But he makes the mistake to say that the instruments dont sound right. they themselves sound fine with the style of beat and such, the problem lies in the melody. you have 2-3 melodies created, but none of them gel together, they're just fighting for attention. try to decide which one is the lead synth, backup (not as complicated) and a bass (to hold common notes together). Just work with those elements, and keep up with the drums and making them more complex but beat holding (always a hard challenge) good luck my friend

I make music that pops and clicks in your eardrums and in your synapses. listen to my beats and you'll breathe with me.
